Business Analyst

This assignment involves the implementation of a project supporting program and information system management. The overall objective is to deliver and make operational required information systems addressing gaps, supporting the strategies of various governmental entities, and engaging in a business transformation, starting with the harmonization/simplification of business processes.

What you will do.

• Support the business owner in accordance with a recognized project management methodology
• Contribute to business requirements management, testing, financial forecasting, business process management, project and change management
• Provide ad-hoc expertise
• Provide business-oriented support to IT suppliers, particularly in the areas of user experience, data migration, and quality assurance
• Perform business analysis and develop a detailed understanding of business processes, business needs, and functional requirements
• Analyze business needs and requirements through interviews, workshops, desk research, and other appropriate techniques, and translate them into functional requirements
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements
• Prepare functional requirements, business cases, vision documents, and other business analysis deliverables in accordance with established methodologies
• Support the continuous definition, refinement, and validation of requirements together with the business
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT supplier teams to support the delivery of business solutions and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Support with the analysis of the business scope and identify opportunities for the simplification, rationalization, and harmonization of business processes
• Support internal contract management activities (initiation, verification, offers evaluation)
• Support testing activities through interactions with users, including the use of mock-ups, prototypes, and pilot preparations where relevant
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports
• Participate in functional working groups, user committees, project meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities

What they ask

• Master's degree or equivalent diploma in a field linked to the assignment OR bachelor level degree in the same field plus equivalent professional experience of minimum four years
• Fluency in English for oral and written communication as well as comprehension (C1 level)
• Knowledge of French at a minimum B2 level
