For a technically oriented organization, a procurement consultancy is looking for a Manager Procurement & Contract Management.
What you will do.
- Lead the team responsible for procurement and contract management within an extensive technical-operational environment.
- Translate organizational needs into appropriate procurement strategies, tenders, and contractual agreements.
- Maintain an overview of the total contract portfolio.
- Connect different disciplines, manage progress, risks, and decision-making.
- Ensure that contracts are well-implemented and align with both the project phase and the future management organization.
- Fulfill a broad directorial role where strategy, leadership, and concrete results converge.
Profile
- HBO+/university level of thinking and working (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering, public administration or a comparable field).
- Extensive experience within procurement, purchasing, and/or contract management.
- Accustomed to taking responsibility in a complex environment.
- Experience in managing and further developing professionals.
- Experience in monitoring multiple projects, contracts, or workflows simultaneously and bringing structure and priority to them.
- Knowledge of governance, contractual agreements, and relevant laws and regulations, or intensive collaboration with these in previous roles.
- Good command of both Dutch and English.
Preferences.
- Experience within a collaborative venture or joint venture, for example in energy, infrastructure, industry, or a similar technical environment.
