GGZ Support Worker
This care organization offers specialized guidance based on the vision that every person matters and deserves to make the most of themselves. This applies to clients, employees, and volunteers. You will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to various client groups.
What you will do. Within the teams, you support people in their recovery and stimulate their participation in society. You help clients to take care of themselves and their environment, to adhere to agreements, and to bring structure and regularity into their lives. This requires creativity, flexibility, and perseverance. The organization offers support and guidance in treatment trajectories but does not perform treatments itself. You encourage clients to apply what they learn during their treatment in daily life.
A colleague shares: "I guide clients so they can take steps in their recovery. I encourage them to function as independently as possible and, for example, to participate in day activities. In my group, clients work, for example, on a care farm, others work through the municipality as production workers. Together we cook and discuss the day during the news.".
