Together with the daily board of the Works Council, you draw up agendas and prepare consultations with the executive. In addition to this organizational talent, you bring a strong advisory component.

Based on your experience with employee participation and knowledge of the Works Councils Act (WOR), you proactively identify when action is needed. You advise the Works Council, both solicited and unsolicited, on procedures, deadlines, and consultation or approval processes.

What you will do.

  • Plan and streamline Works Council meetings and consultations with the executive.

Profile

As Official Secretary, you are in a unique and strategic position. Organizationally, you are part of an HR&O team, but in practice, you support and advise the Works Council from a professionally independent position. You dare to ask critical questions and address stakeholders directly when procedures or the position of employee participation require it. You work closely with the dedicated members of the Works Council. These colleagues represent the interests of employees in important organizational developments.

You maintain close contact with the executive, MT members, HR&O, and the executive secretariat. You quickly grasp what is happening within the organization and are involved early in matters where employee participation plays a role.
