You will work at a residential location that provides a safe home and serves as a substance-free intermediate step towards independence for participants. Approximately 30 participants with a history of addiction combined with psychiatric problems or a mild intellectual disability live here. You will be part of a close-knit and professional team where recovery-oriented work is central.
What you will do.
- Together with the participant, you will draw up a personal recovery plan.
- You will look at the participant's possibilities, wishes, and goals and translate these into concrete agreements.
- You will provide structure, address participants in a clear and constructive manner, and encourage them to take control of their own recovery.
- You will maintain contact with the network surrounding the participants, both internally and externally.
- You will collaborate with various professionals and actively contribute to making care future-proof.
- You will support participants in daily activities and work closely with residential supervisors on site.
- One to two days a week you will work group shifts, partly outside office hours. The remaining working days can largely be scheduled independently.
Profile
- You have completed a relevant HBO education (Social Work, SPH, MZ, etc.).
- You have affinity and/or experience with our target group with addiction problems.
- You are willing to work irregular shifts and will receive an irregular hours allowance for this. You will not work night shifts.
- You are a Christian and can indicate what this means to you.
