Construction Permit Officer
As an experienced Construction Permit Officer, you will lead (complex) environmental permit applications within a government organization. You will assess and review applications substantively against applicable laws and regulations, and you will guide and execute the entire process. You are responsible for monitoring deadlines and have frequent contact with residents and businesses. You are aware of developments concerning the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet) and contribute to discussions on this topic.

- Draft and send the decision

- Contribute to discussions on developments concerning the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet)

- Affinity with construction-related issues and knowledge and experience with applying relevant laws and regulations (Awb, Omgevingswet, Bbl, Bkl, and Wkb)
- Successfully completed Awb 1 training
- Good communication skills; able to convey information clearly to various organizational units and external parties
- Practically oriented, eye for detail, and focused on possibilities
- A strong personality who dares to deviate from established paths if other methods yield better results
- Experience with politically and administratively sensitive matters and able to bring the right information to the right people
Wishes.
- More than 3 years of experience as a permit officer
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction sector
- Minimum HBO level (higher professional education)
