A technology company, specialized in the inspection, maintenance, and repair (MRO) of advanced jet engines, is looking for a CNC Operator.
- The company is a key player in an international MRO network and is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry.
- You will strengthen the teams as part of the growth of LEAP engines.
What you will do.
- You will oversee computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines.
- You will be responsible for ensuring machining of subassembly, quality parts, and tools specific to engineering drawing dimensions.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Ensure CNC machines operate in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.
- Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functionality.
- Record all machine activities by completing production and quality logs.
- Provide accurate timelines and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with the Methods Department regarding any issues encountered during machining.
- Ensure that machining results meet the defined work scope and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of CNC machines.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and a goal-oriented attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques in the industry.
- Good computer skills.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
Languages.
- Very good knowledge of technical English.
- Basic understanding of Dutch or French, with the desire to improve it.
Practical
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium (EU passport or valid work & residence permit).
