Project Controller

You contribute to socially relevant work within a government organization.
- You support colleagues with equipment, supplies, and IT.
- The project aims to realize a sustainable and future-proof electronic surveillance and security functionality for all locations where electronic security measures are currently in place.
- This ensures the organization can perform its security tasks at an acceptable level, in line with security policy.
- After implementation, departments will be able to protect based on a mix of Organizational, Structural, and Electronic security measures (OBE mix), ensuring readiness for main tasks.
- The project focuses on replacing the E-component of the OBE mix.
- Emphasis is placed on integral project management and integral project control, with a strong intertwining of scope, estimation, and planning through the use of a uniform WBS fed by Systems Engineering objects.
- The project requires controlled and predictable work, including the processing of uncertainties and risks in estimation/planning and strict scope and risk management.
What you will do.
- Manage complex projects.
- Develop project schedules.
- Effectively set up and execute risk management.
- Collaborate effortlessly with various stakeholders.
What they ask
- Minimum of an HBO diploma (higher professional education) or demonstrable WO (university) work and thinking level, preferably in a technical field.
- More than three years of experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the government sector.
- Proactive, strong communicator, analytically minded, and curious about new insights and solutions.
- Experience with planning software such as Primavera and MS Project.
- Thorough knowledge of risk management.
- Thorough knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, IPMA, or Agile.
- Affinity with the public security sector.
- Dutch language proficiency at a very high level (CEFR C2/STANAG Level 5), both oral and written.
- English language proficiency at an advanced level (CEFR C1/STANAG Level 4).
- Accurate and able to switch between details and the bigger picture.
- Strong motivation combined with relevant work experience.
Practical
- Possibility to make arrangements for working on-site and working from home, in consultation with the team.
