Rent Collection Officer

As a Rent Collection Officer, you contribute to the financial health of a housing corporation and the well-being of its tenants. You ensure that tenants receive proper assistance with payment arrears.
What you will do.
- Maintain telephone contact with tenants regarding payment arrears
- Potentially conduct home visits
- Send reminders and engage in discussions with tenants to prevent payment problems
- Establish and monitor payment arrangements, documenting them carefully
- Collaborate with social partners, including debt counseling services
- Transfer files to the bailiff in case of persistent arrears
- Manage the administration related to rent arrears and debt assistance processes

- Minimum MBO (intermediate vocational education) work or thinking level
- Several years of work experience (2-5 years) in a similar role
