HR Project Manager

Support a manager in the coordination and follow-up of HR projects within a large retail organization.

  • Bring structure to a complex environment with multiple dossiers, stakeholders, scenarios, and priorities.
  • Contribute to planning, analysis, decision preparation, and follow-up of agreements.

What you do

  • Coordinate ongoing HR projects: establish planning, follow up on actions, report, and evaluate.
  • Support the manager in organizing and structuring meetings, taking into account business priorities.
  • Prepare meeting content and ensure clear reporting, decisions, and follow-up of actions.
  • Clearly process and keep up-to-date decisions, actions, and project status in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Regularly report on progress, risks, bottlenecks, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate on various scenarios and budgets and maintain an overview when parameters change.
  • Further develop scenarios based on figures, own analyses, and discussions with the business.
  • Analyze HR data, formulate relevant insights, and translate them into concrete recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, Internal Communications, operational managers, and directors.
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops, follow-up meetings, and steering committees.
  • Contribute to the optimization, digitalization, and documentation of HR processes.
  • Coordinate with SAP HR and Payroll teams to ensure the coherence of processes and data.

What they ask

  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in HR project management, HR PMO, or a similar project role.
  • A clear HR background and sufficient understanding of HR processes to quickly work independently.
  • Experience within a large and complex organization.
  • Experience within retail, logistics, or an environment with a large blue-collar workforce is a strong asset.
  • Very strong in Excel (pivot tables, more complex formulas, analyses, and self-built tracking files).
  • Ability to process information clearly and management-oriented in PowerPoint.
  • At least basic knowledge of SAP HR and understanding of the correlation between HR data and HR processes.
  • Strong analytical skills: able not only to analyze figures but also to unravel a complex problem and arrive at a clear synthesis.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, maintaining an overview of multiple parallel projects, meetings, and actions.
  • Communicate structured and proactively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Take ownership, be proactive, and have a distinct can-do mentality.
  • Agile and comfortable in an environment where information, priorities, or scenarios can change.

Languages.

  • Excellent command of Dutch or French.
  • Very good knowledge of the second national language.
  • Good knowledge of English.

Practical

  • A lot of autonomy and responsibility in the daily follow-up and structuring of projects.
  • A role close to management, with high visibility on ongoing HR projects and business decisions.
