A multidisciplinary expertise center for the diagnosis and treatment of hyperventilation, stress-related disorders, and medically unexplained physical complaints is looking for reinforcement. There is a formal collaboration with research groups from academic institutions. The center aims for cross-pollination between research and clinical practice to make current scientific knowledge accessible and to guarantee a practice based on scientific insights.
Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy
- Strong affinity and experience with stress-related complaints, psychosomatics, functional syndromes (CFS, fibromyalgia, chronic pain...)
- Experience with manual techniques, myofascial therapy or fasciatherapy, graded activity, or willingness to train in these areas
- Experience with relaxation and breathing techniques is a definite plus
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Conscious choice to work as a self-employed professional in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work a few evenings/week
- Intention to commit to a long-term engagement
