A university is looking for a mandate assistant for the Assistant Academic Staff of a specific faculty and department. The role includes both teaching and research assignments, with a focus on radiotherapy.
What you will do. Teaching assignment.
- Provide assistance to bachelor's education
- Conduct practicals and exercise sessions for courses such as mathematics (numerical skills), Biomedical Physics and imaging, Pharmaceutical Physics, and Programming for the Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences program
Research assignment.
- Conduct research in the field of Radiotherapy
- Aim to obtain a doctorate in medical sciences
Other tasks.
- Be a member of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy
- Contribute to community service, outreach, and recruitment activities
Profile
- Master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering sciences, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or an educational master's degree
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English
- A master's thesis completed in a medical application is an advantage
- A master's thesis completed in quantitative research is an advantage
- Willingness to endorse the university's educational vision
