A certified occupational health service is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Occupational Physician Assistant (POB) who is hands-on and enjoys actively supporting and guiding employees. Quality is highly valued within this organization, and flexibility is desired.
What you will do.
- Be the first (telephone) point of contact for employees of various affiliated companies seeking contact
- Make telephone contact to follow up on sick reports and assess the situation
- Conduct absenteeism discussions with both employers and employees, under the delegation of tasks from the Occupational Physician, with the aim of preventing absenteeism and sick leave
- If necessary, refer employees to the Occupational Physician
- Maintain short lines of communication and act quickly
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with absenteeism processes, for example as a case manager, reintegration & prevention advisor, health coordinator, or HR employee
- Medical knowledge is not required
- In possession of a B driving license
- Knowledge of the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter (Gatekeeper Improvement Act)
- No problem working for various clients
- Stress-resistant and possess strong problem-solving skills
