Psychomotor Therapist

A small-scale specialized mental health institution (GGZ), launched in January 2025, treats adults who are struggling in various areas of their lives. The care provided is personal, expert, and focused on sustainable change. You will work in a compact and multidisciplinary team with short lines of communication, where responsibilities are close and everyone contributes to the ongoing development of the organization.

What you will do.

• You will make a significant contribution to the recovery of clients.
• Where words fall short, you will use movement, experience, and confrontation to get clients moving, both literally and figuratively.
• You dare to mirror, challenge, and expose patterns, always with attention and empathy for the person behind the behavior.
• You will help clients recognize, explore, and, where possible, break patterns through experience-oriented therapy.
• You will provide both individual treatments and group sessions, creating a safe environment where clients can grow.
• You will work with a target group facing challenges in emotional regulation, self-image, boundaries, and relationships.
• You know how to challenge, motivate, and get clients moving.
• You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a fellow psychomotor therapist and a drama and visual therapist, to develop appropriate treatment methods and innovative activities.
