A technology company is looking for an API Tester to ensure the quality of applications. You will work in an innovative IT environment and have the opportunity to expand your technical expertise. The role may eventually be extended with Java development tasks.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain a robust testing approach
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to set up test scenarios
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts with JMeter
- Continuously improve and expand the existing test set
- Execute API tests and analyze test results
- Identify and report quality and performance issues
- Contribute to the further optimization of testing processes
- Potentially participate in development activities in the long term
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience with API testing
- Experience with test automation
- Knowledge of JMeter is a strong asset
- Knowledge of technologies such as Groovy, Java, SoapUI, SQL, and Git is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, but also be a team player
- Structured and accurate approach with an eye for quality
- Proactive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment
