A public organization is looking for a behavioral scientist to fulfill both a coaching and advisory role for youth and adult care coordinators. The position is an integral part of regular operations and requires full integration into the organization. The employee works under the daily supervision of the responsible manager and participates in internal meetings.
What you do
- Involved in multidisciplinary consultations and decisions on substantive issues (core decisions).
- Provides consultation and advice to care coordinators on ongoing cases, including caseload discussions.
- Coaches care coordinators in managing cases or providing direct assistance within a family.
- Acts as a signaling function to process supervisors and managers.
- Contributes from a substantive perspective to the further development of the assistance and service offering.
What they ask
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of university bachelor's level.
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist / psychologist.
- Valid SKJ or BIG registration as a GZ psychologist / Orthopedagogue-Generalist (registration number must be explicitly stated).
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist in a local team.
- Demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist with complex family issues, safety issues, and multi-problem situations.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the role of behavioral scientist focused on youth and adults within a municipality, district team, youth care organization, Veilig Thuis, and/or certified institution.
