This role focuses on clients with highly complex care needs who are temporarily unable to stay at their home location. The stay at the specialized care facility is short-term, typically three to six weeks, with the aim of finding a suitable care and guidance context for the client.
What you do
- You establish genuine contact with people exhibiting challenging behavior.
- You gain knowledge of various client groups within the care organization and can quickly switch between these groups.
- You seek effective interventions and align with the care context to which the client will return.
- You dare to intervene in complex situations and experiment with interventions.
- You engage in discussions with colleagues from different perspectives.
- You collaborate with other support workers, coordinating support workers, behavioral experts, a complex case team, and the clients' original or future residential location.
What they ask
- Interest in or experience with complex issues, such as intellectual disability care combined with psychiatric and/or forensic care.
- A completed MBO 4 education in care and welfare, or another relevant care-related field such as applied psychology or forensic psychiatry.
- Experience with the Triple-C treatment method and aggression management, or willingness to learn this.
- Willingness to work irregular shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekend services.
