HR Services Officer
As an HR Services Officer, you are an important link in the daily HR services of a research and education institution. You help employees and managers move forward, ensure that HR processes run smoothly, and identify areas for improvement. From a new employee starting to a colleague growing or leaving the organization: you ensure that the administrative and organizational aspects are well-managed. In doing so, you pay attention to the person behind the process.
You work closely with HR colleagues and are a reliable guide for managers with various HR questions. At the same time, you look beyond the immediate question. You identify bottlenecks, contribute to solutions, and help create smarter, clearer, and more unambiguous HR processes.
What you do
- Provide first-line support to answer questions from managers, employees, and HR professionals.
- Responsible for the operational process around inflow, throughflow, and outflow within the SLA and process KPIs.
- Accept and handle administrative requests in the field of authorizations and calculations from the organization according to work instructions and process standards.
- Ensure the quality of personnel files.
- Take control and participate in projects focused on optimizing HR processes.
- Seek solutions for specific inflow, throughflow, and outflow, (complex) cases where advice is sought from different staff departments.
- Responsible for setting up and updating the knowledge base within the HR Services team.

- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
- 3-5 years of work experience in an HR Services/HR Support function.
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR laws and regulations in the Netherlands.
- Knowledge of and affinity with inflow, throughput, and outflow processes.
- Experience with project-based work.
- Result-oriented and accurate, striving for "First Time Right".
- Strong communicator and connector at all levels within the organization.
- Shows ownership, takes initiative, and knows how to effectively deal with resistance and conflicting interests.
- Proficient in Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in English at B2 level, or willing to follow a training course for this.
