Work within a government organization, but not as a military professional.
- A department within this organization manages a unique and varied real estate portfolio, ranging from storage facilities to offices, data centers, and transmission sites.
- The Physical Environment & Real Estate section advises on compliant, permitted, and spatially integrated real estate.
What you will do.
- Advise users (directors, commanders, and other stakeholders) on real estate needs.
- Contribute to the design and coordination of the layout (and expansion) of real estate.
- Contribute to the policy, planning, and budgeting process (BPB) and the development of implementation policy.
- Support local advisors in commissioning facilities from a national real estate agency (relatively minor real estate adjustments).
- Assist in substantiating multi-year maintenance plans.
- Write and submit project cards with real estate needs statements.
- Ensure being 'in control', setting priorities, and strategic decision-making regarding the entire real estate portfolio.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) in Construction or Civil Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience within the real estate field.
- Broad experience in laws and regulations.
- Broad experience and knowledge of construction and building processes, including planning and realization of construction projects.
- Extensive experience in project-based work.
- Experience in the BPB domain related to real estate.
- Experience in developing spatial planning policy.
