Contract Manager

Within a government organization, the role of Contract Manager is performed within the Procurement and Contract Management department, specifically in the Contract and Supplier Management team. The team is divided into 4 assortments: Medical, Transport, Facility, and Personnel services and training.

This is a unique role involving collaboration in a close-knit team to set up contracts with commercial market parties as effectively and efficiently as possible, supporting day-to-day operations and preparing for the organization's readiness.

What you will do.

• Functionally report to a Coordinating Contract Manager.
• Responsible for the management, implementation, setup, compliance, and optimal utilization of contractual agreements with suppliers.
• The goal is to optimally support the entire organization.
• Act as the link between demanders and suppliers.
• Proactively evaluate collaborations.
• Ensure the added value of contracts is utilized and adjust where necessary.
• Advise the business (solicited and unsolicited) to achieve the best results.
• Quickly form a clear picture of all stakeholders and their interests.
• Ensure the right balance between the contract's content and the relationship with civil contract partners and various internal stakeholders.

What they ask

• Minimum of an (accredited) HBO or WO diploma.
• Demonstrable minimum of 7 years of experience as a contract or supplier manager.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Demonstrable experience with the MS Office suite and proficient in MS Excel.

Preferences.

• Knowledge of methods and standards in contract management (preferably CATS CM) and/or Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
