You work on the freedom of movement for patients within a specialized healthcare organization.
What you do
- As an orthopedic surgeon, you perform outpatient and clinical activities for the treatment of orthopedic abnormalities in children.
- The focus of your work is on general pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis/spinal deformity in children.
- There will be a varying link with one of the pediatric orthopedic surgeons.
- You will also, where possible, perform activities at the pediatric unit of an academic medical center.
Profile
- You are enthusiastic and results-oriented, show initiative, and communicate openly and effectively.
- Independent work is self-evident, but you can also collaborate well with colleagues from other disciplines.
- You have a (nearly) completed education as an orthopedic surgeon.
- You are motivated to further specialize in pediatric orthopedics.
- You have an open attitude and are able to collaborate well with colleagues from different backgrounds and perspectives.
Practical
- You work within a pediatric unit together with seven staff members, a nursing specialist AGZ, and assistants.
- Collegiality, respect, and a pleasant atmosphere are highly valued.
- The pediatric unit is involved in a Gait Expertise Center.
- A versatile role with much responsibility and room for personal initiative.
