As a part-time blood collection specialist, you will manage the entire blood collection process within a specialized organization responsible for the demand for blood and blood products. You will be part of a close-knit team of 36 employees and will be responsible for the entire collection process, paying close attention to the physical condition of the donors. Quality is very important, and the activities are laid down in procedures. You will receive internal training to work with these.
What you will do.
- Warmly welcome and register donors with a smile
- Conduct medical examinations of blood and plasma donors
- Perform venipunctures
- Carry out light technical cleaning tasks
- Manage donor registration and contact with donors for appointment scheduling
Profile
- MBO diploma in healthcare (doctor's assistant, nursing, care assistant IG)
- Experience with blood (products) collection and venipunctures is a plus
- Work an average of 4 days per week, including at least 2 evenings and Saturday mornings at the main location
- Flexible deployment according to schedule at fixed and mobile collection locations
- Possession of a driving license and car is a plus for traveling to various locations
- Be accurate, flexible, and socially skilled, and able to easily switch between tasks
- Take responsibility and contribute to continuous process improvement within strict protocols
- Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written; proficiency in English is a plus
