The activities are carried out within the traffic and transport organization of a large public organization. This organization is one of the service centers reporting to the facility, logistics, and security division of the support command. The objective is to provide worldwide transport of persons and goods, physical mail processing, and to manage the operation of all civilian service vehicles.
The passenger transport service plans and executes non-operational passenger transport, subdivided into group transport, patient transport, and VIP transport.
What you do
- Responsible for the preparation of transport assignments within the work unit
- Allocating the capacity of the work unit for the execution of transport assignments
- Ensuring the continuity of staffing for planners/team leaders for the primary process
- Drawing up a work schedule and setting priorities
- Monitoring the progress of execution and intervening in case of bottlenecks
- Drawing up a balanced schedule and monitoring the Working Hours Act (ATW)
- Having planners carry out (physical) internal transport controls
- Ensuring the completeness of necessary data and associated instructions for KVD
- Coordinating training within the work unit
- Drawing up schedules and sub-orders related to training
- Monitoring the validity of certificates and the registration of training results
- Leading the C-TGP and VIP transport planner

- Knowledge of Logistics B&T, Digiplan@vanced, MS Office, ATW
- Leadership role within operational logistics units
- Experience with logistics planning systems
- Proficiency in English and German
- Competencies: Sense of responsibility, Communication, Collaboration, Initiative, Influence, Decisiveness (level 2)
