Project Engineer steel construction
You are responsible for the study, preparation, and technical follow-up of steel construction projects within an industrial environment. You work on renovations and extensions of steel structures, such as piping and cable racks, crane runway beams, conveyor belts, buildings, and towers, ensuring that projects are technically prepared and executed correctly. This is a technical role where you combine engineering with project follow-up and are regularly present on site.
What you do
- You develop technical studies and designs for steel construction projects
- You prepare specifications and technical files
- You support the execution and follow up on the construction site
- You coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- You monitor planning, quality
- You contribute to technical optimizations and renovation solutions
What they ask
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, (Electro)mechanics, or equivalent by experience
- You have experience with steel constructions or industrial projects
- You have knowledge of structural stability and technical plans
- You have experience with CAD; knowledge of SAP is a plus
- You work in a structured and analytical manner
- You are fluent in Dutch
