What you will do.
- Management, organization, and supervision of the technical platform for hematology/hemostasis, including hematology, hematological cytology, hemostasis, immunohematology, and flow cytometry
- Management and supervision of the analytical process phases:
- Pre-analytical: sampling, transport, encoding, sample processing
- Analytical
- Post-analytical: interpretation, biological validation, and result transmission
- Implementation and supervision of analyses related to various sub-sectors
- Management of quality controls (internal and external)
- Development, evaluation, and implementation of new techniques
- Contact with prescribing physicians (internal and external): needs assessment, assistance with prescription and interpretation of results
- Training of clinical biology assistants (the laboratory is recognized as a training service)
- Supervision of laboratory personnel (technical and scientific support)
- Active participation in the quality system
- Active participation in transversal activities and various laboratory projects (computerized prescriptions, quality management, logistics management…)
- Participation in polyvalent on-call duties: multisectoral supervision and biological validation
Profile
- Physician / Pharmacist specialized in clinical biology with a tropism for hematology, but with versatile training in medical biochemistry and microbiology
- Proficiency in IT tools (GLIMS, middleware, …)
- Relational and managerial qualities, as well as team spirit
- Dynamism, flexibility, analytical and initiative-taking spirit, sense of responsibility
- Commitment to continuous training to update knowledge
