What you will do.
- Process formal and informal responses to valuation decisions.
- Process advice from appraisers and handle objections.
- Draft statements of defense and documents for the court, in collaboration with a senior colleague.
- Also handle objections and appeals against assessments of various levies.
- Answer questions from residents both by phone and in writing.
- Take initiative and responsibility.
Profile
- MBO+ working and thinking level or an equivalent education.
- Knowledge of the General Administrative Law Act and tax law.
- Completed specific vocational training(s) (e.g., BMLO or HALO) or the ambition to pursue them.
- Ability to work accurately.
- Good communication skills, including excellent editorial command of the Dutch language.
- Collegial attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Entrepreneurial character and fitting within the team.
- Willingness to perform other tasks of the team.
- Ability to handle workload and openness to change.
- Agile, innovative, reliable, and engaged.

About the Team. You will be part of a team that works together to achieve results for society. The team consists of clusters for policy, objection/appeal, levy/data management, collection/remission, and valuation. Together, they ensure the levy and collection of municipal tax assessments, carefully and customer-focused. Great importance is attached to a strong work ethic and joint commitment, with room for relaxation and enjoyment. The team provides the complete execution of municipal taxes.
