As a data analyst for supervision and enforcement, you contribute to keeping the Netherlands safe, clean, and accessible. You help a government organization work smarter with data by making information clear and usable, leading to better decision-making. What you will do.
- You will translate information needs into dashboards and reports and further develop them.
- You will improve data quality by establishing registration agreements and information standards.
- You will investigate links with other systems and domains.
- You will support risk-driven supervision and prioritization.
- You will contribute to discussions on procurement and tenders, both for the department and nationally.
- You will ensure that management information is properly set up from the start in the new system to promote data-driven and risk-managed work.
Profile
You will work closely with supervisors and enforcement officers and have direct contact with them. Together with data colleagues and specialists, you will work on smart solutions. The team is practical, engaged, and offers room for initiative and personal development.
What they ask
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, for example in data science, econometrics, computer science, or business administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, supervisor, or inspector.
- Experience with BI tools and data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or Power BI).
- Knowledge of data management and information provision and the ability to apply this in practice.
- Competencies: taking initiative, analyzing, convincing, and communicating clearly.
