This healthcare organization is looking for a Health Psychologist who enjoys working at the intersection of mental healthcare and education. The role contributes to the development of children and young people with psychological and/or behavioral problems.
What you do
- You conduct intakes, psychodiagnostic research, and treatments.
- You establish diagnoses and translate them into appropriate treatment recommendations.
- You are substantively involved in treatment trajectories and monitor the quality of care.
- You collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and participate in consultation moments.
- You advise clients, parents/caregivers, schools, and colleagues based on your expertise.
- You contribute to the development and innovation of the care offering within the Care & Education department.
- You guide and coach colleagues and contribute to the development of psychologists in training to become Health Psychologists.
Profile
- You hold a university master's degree in psychology, orthopedagogy, or educational sciences, supplemented with a post-master's in health psychology.
- You are BIG-registered as a Health Psychologist.
- You have an affinity for children and young people with psychiatric problems.
- You have an affinity for education and working at the intersection of care and education.
- You can handle complex situations well and easily switch between different perspectives.
- You possess strong communication skills and know how to connect with clients, families, and colleagues.
- You work recovery-oriented and see possibilities and talents in children and young people.
Practical
The workplace is within outpatient care & education and education-oriented day treatment. The multidisciplinary team partly works outreach in schools and with families at home. It is a dynamic work environment with a focus on continuous development and shaping the treatment offering.
