Work Supervisor

• Guide and motivate a group of up to 24 detainees during production activities (e.g., making parts for roller blinds, labeling cans).
• Ensure proper execution of work and timely delivery of products.
• Conduct motivating and coaching conversations, and set clear boundaries.
• Lead and ensure compliance with rules, while supporting detainees in their development.
• Prepare the workshop and distribute tasks.
• Provide explanations, answer questions, and assist when necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering goods, sending invoices, and tracking hours worked.
• Conduct progress interviews about the development of detainees.
• Maintain contact with customers to ensure products and orders meet agreed standards.

What they ask

• MBO 4 working and thinking level (assessed with an aptitude test).
• Experience working in production, maintenance, logistics, metal, bread/pastry, woodworking, textile, or building maintenance.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and preferably also in English.
• Good physical and mental condition.
• Ability to set boundaries and conduct firm conversations.
• Ability to relativize and empathy, while maintaining professional distance.
• Enjoys working with groups of people, helps them progress, and always keeps an eye on safety.

• Onboarding period of 8 weeks with an experienced colleague and generic/function-specific training courses.
• The training courses take place full-time during working hours and at the organization's expense.
• The application procedure includes an online home test (aptitude test and questionnaires), followed by a selection day with interviews, an aptitude test check, and a physical fitness test.
• A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a medical examination are required.
