Full Stack Developer
A digital insurance company for individuals and entrepreneurs, with a strong focus on vehicle insurance. The organization accepts, administers, and manages insurance on behalf of insurers. Technology and automation play a central role in its services, from online applications and policy management to customer communication and claims handling. Existing platforms are combined with proprietary software and integrations to offer customers more self-service and reduce manual work for colleagues.
As a small, growing company, the organization offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of its software and its development methodology.
What you do
You develop and maintain customer and intermediary portals, frontend applications, and services in Azure. Your activities include:
- Building and improving frontend applications, portals, and sales funnels.
- Developing backend services, serverless TypeScript Functions, and API integrations between policy administration, external systems, and data sources.
- Processing data with SQL Server and realizing reliable synchronizations.
- Automating insurance processes with the functional administrator and involved colleagues.
- Testing software, resolving errors, and improving security, performance, and maintainability.
- Contributing to architecture and technical choices, and deploying new technologies and AI applications where they add value.
Your initial projects will focus on claims functionalities and automation from claims reporting to payout, in addition to improvements to sales funnels and maintenance of existing software. You will work with TypeScript, React, REST APIs, SQL Server, and Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Storage. C#/. NET will also have a place within the technical environment. GitHub is used for version control; tests and deployment are automated via CI/CD.
Collaboration. You will work in a small team with other developers, the functional administrator, and colleagues from acceptance, claims handling, finance, and compliance. Your manager is the technical lead. You will discuss requirements directly with users and translate them into solutions together with the functional administrator. Technical choices will be coordinated with the technical lead and fellow developers.
