Java Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain MCP servers in Quarkus.
• Make business capabilities available as MCP Tools, Resources, and Prompts.
• Integrate existing DataHub and back-end APIs.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ensure auditability, observability, and governance within AI interactions.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Support the evolution from single-agent to multi-agent AI solutions.
• Contribute to reusable MCP frameworks, SDKs, and standards.
• Optimize performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of solutions.
• Help shape the AI platform architecture and best practices.
• Implement requirements from epics, user stories, and functional analyses.
• Work according to Agile/Scrum methodology and coordinate closely with business and test teams.

• Strong knowledge of Java 17+, Quarkus, REST APIs, CDI, Maven, and microservices.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), including Tools, Resources, Prompts, and governance.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, ECS, API Gateway, and IAM.
• Experience with API integrations, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, and API security.
• Understanding of AI and LLM concepts such as agentic architectures, prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, and context management.
• Experience with Bedrock Agents, embeddings, and AI model integrations.
• Strong expertise in security: OAuth2, OIDC, Entra ID, RBAC, secure API design, audit logging, and threat modeling.
• Knowledge of governance and security risks such as privilege escalation, context protection, and shadow MCP servers.
• Experience with observability, logging, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
