Infrastructure Environmental Manager
You will ensure a smooth integration of infrastructure projects into the environment of a municipality. You will work closely with stakeholders. The municipality is undergoing significant development, with thousands of homes and facilities being added in the coming years through various urban initiatives. For a specific assignment, an environmental manager is sought for the necessary infrastructure. This project includes, among other things:
- Realization of an underpass beneath a highway
- Widening of the underlying road network from 2x1 to 2x2 lanes
- Sufficient water retention
- Various civil engineering structures over a canal
What you do
- Build and maintain new relationships
- Effectively position projects by considering various interests
- Demonstrate how the organization continuously improves infrastructure
- Be part of an EPPM/IPM team and work closely with the project manager, technical manager, contract manager, and project control manager
- Provide direction for participation and stakeholder management with strong communication and organizational skills
- Safeguard spatial-legal conditions, liveability
- Deliver integrated project results within the framework of DR-GOTICK (sustainability, risk, money, organization, time, information, communication, and quality)
- Responsible for integrating the project into the environment by promoting stakeholder acceptance
- Ensure spatial-legal conditioning, such as permits, zoning plans, exemptions, and nitrogen regulations
- Take care of accessibility, liveability, safety, and communication (BLVC)
- Organize community participation within the framework of municipal participation policy
- Establish client requirements and provide them for the Program of Requirements (PvE) and the contract
- Independently manage (sub)environmental teams, consisting of content experts, external parties, and collaboration partners
What they ask
- Completed HBO and/or WO education (higher professional education or university education)
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with integral management of spatial-physical projects from initiation to realization phase in municipalities of comparable size (50,000 to 100,000 inhabitants), having completed all project phases
- Knowledge of the EPPM/IPM project management collaboration model and proficient in applying the associated processes, products, roles, and responsibilities in all project phases
- Experience and knowledge of environmental management and risk management
