The world of Care & Safety (C&S) is constantly evolving, and a local team aims to adapt to it and, where possible, influence it.

What you will do.

Monitor work processes and quality within C&S themes.
Act as a working foreman, case/lead manager for the Local Person-Oriented Approach (PGA) and the Care and Safety House.
Address themes such as individuals with misunderstood behavior, person-oriented approach, domestic violence, child abuse, honor-related violence, stalking, and youth.
Find sustainable solutions for bottlenecks and disseminate them within the basic team and beyond.
Be a point of contact for colleagues and advise team management.
Be a point of contact for internal and external partners on C&S themes, such as Veilig Thuis, various care and youth institutions, a safety region, municipal authorities, and the Public Prosecution Service.
Participate in the district-wide approach and maintain regular contact with Care and Safety directors from other basic teams and a regional Care & Safety specialist.
Convert plans into an implementation trajectory to achieve visible and concrete steps in the approach.
Hold the role of auxiliary public prosecutor.
Independently perform operational police tasks.
Advise on improvements, implement established improvements, and adjust based on results.
If not yet an auxiliary public prosecutor, complete the associated training successfully.

Profile

Connecting and having a good understanding of the various interests and processes related to the C&S theme.
Experience in networking and building support at different levels, with appropriate persuasive power.
Proactive, communicative, and a good listener.
Team player, but also able to work independently.
Quality-oriented, advises and sets an example for others.
Knows when and whom to inform in case of potential reputational damage.
Focused on innovation, thinks outside the box and constantly questions the approach.
Not afraid to tackle a diversity of subjects and processes, energized by new challenges.
HBO (bachelor) work and thinking level.
Police diploma at least level 3.
Dutch nationality.
Preference for applicants who have completed the development trajectory from beginner to skilled (if basic police training has been followed).
Minimum Police Officer diploma (mbo 3) required for appointment.
