To strengthen a team responsible for a customer support application, an experienced tester is sought. You will play a central role between technology and functional design, and you will easily switch between different levels within the team. Quality is integrated throughout the entire development process, not just checked at the end.
What you will do.
- You will be involved in the team's work from the refinement phase.
- You will investigate risks and assess requirements and acceptance criteria for testability.
- You will help determine which testing activities are necessary.
- You will independently draw up and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- You will analyze requirements and acceptance criteria for completeness, clarity, risks, and testability.
- You will perform functional, regression, integration, and chain tests.
- You will register and analyze findings, actively follow them up, and monitor the progress of testing work within the sprint.
- You will make risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks transparent in a timely manner.
- You will contribute to setting up, maintaining, and further improving test automation and automated regression tests.
- You will contribute ideas on the effective use and management of test data and test environments.
- You will investigate structural quality problems and translate your findings into concrete improvement proposals.
- You will share knowledge and support less experienced testers and other team members.
Profile
- Demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
- TMAP and/or ISTQB certifications.
- Practical experience with test automation (Cucumber), API testing, and testing rule-based functionality.
- Experience with setting up and documenting (on Confluence) test cases, regression tests, integration tests; robustness testing and test coverage analysis.
- Knowledge of SoapUI, Json, XML, and MQ services.
- Knowledge of Product Risk Analysis (PRA) and JIRA.
- Accustomed to working in a multidisciplinary Agile team.
- Proactive, quality-oriented, and pragmatic.
- Clear communication with colleagues and external parties.
Preferences.
- Knowledge of SQL database (Oracle) and Java.
- CI/CD experience (Azure Devops / GitHub Experience).
- Knowledge of Gherkin for defining structured scenarios.
- Knowledge of drivers and stubs when testing software.
- Knowledge of Robot Framework.
