Electrical Safety Instructor

• You make lessons interactive and varied to acquire and apply new knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
• You use relevant (digital) working methods to enhance the learning experience and create engagement.
• You develop teaching materials (hand-outs, online content, practical exercises) and/or ensure existing materials are up-to-date and relevant.
• You coach trainees throughout the course to help them achieve their goals.
• You contribute to the organization's image as a place for expertise, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

What they ask

• Knowledge and experience with electrical risks and safe working on or near electrical installations.
• Knowledge of the principles and application areas of BA4 and BA5.
• Knowledge of the AREI/RGIE and relevant safety regulations.
• Experience with risk analysis and taking appropriate preventive measures.
• Experience with safely working de-energized, switching, and protecting installations.
• Experience with the correct use of collective and personal protective equipment.
• Experience with handling electrical incidents and emergency situations.

• An open learning attitude and empathy for people at different stages of the learning process.
• Some experience with teaching or public speaking is a plus (a pedagogical diploma is not required).
• Target audience: technical staff, maintenance personnel, and other professionals who want to acquire or deepen their knowledge of electrical safety and safe working practices.
• Languages: Dutch (good), French (good), English (good).
