The role involves providing professional expertise and organizing all activities in the preparation phase of projects within an engineering firm of a government organization. The projects focus on sustainable, innovative, and manageable design of public spaces, with attention to climate resilience, biodiversity, and circularity. This is done as much as possible in co-creation with colleagues, residents, partners, and stakeholders.
The role is carried out within residential area development assignments, including large-scale housing construction, expansion areas, infill locations, transformation areas, and associated work in the public outdoor space.
What you will do.
- Design and review public space designs for accuracy, completeness, and feasibility based on policy documents
- Collect and process review results
- Create landscape designs and drawings for discussion
- Coordinate work by third parties and align with internal and external parties
- Participate in internal and external meetings as a representative
- Report progress to the project leader in a timely manner
Profile
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in landscape design or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a practical landscaper at government organizations
- Affinity with civil subsurface/surface, urban planning, traffic
- Proactive, independent attitude and a true team player
- Act with integrity and willing to sign an integrity declaration

- Demonstrable experience on CV with drawing using Microstation and knowledge of Adobe Suite Indesign, Illustrator
- Experience with Project-based work at an engineering service (not a government institution) and/or Q teams (internal/external)
