Orthopedagogue

An educational institution is looking for an orthopedagogue for its educational service center (OSC). The position is for 3 days a week.

What you will do.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings discussing student plans, methods, and progress.
• Develop policies regarding student placement.
• Advise management on policy development in the field of student guidance.
• Conduct file analysis and hold discussions aimed at responsible student placement.
• Analyze results for advisory purposes.
• Draft a development perspective plan (OPP) for guidance and discuss it with teachers and involved staff.
• Maintain contact with parents to gain insight into students' personal profiles, progress, and behavior at home, and provide advice.

What they ask

• Broad theoretical knowledge of orthopedagogy and general student guidance (completed degree in orthopedagogy).
• Knowledge of student behavior patterns.
• Insight into the task, organization, and working methods of a school.
• Skilled in guiding students, analyzing problems, and finding appropriate solutions.
• Good advisory skills towards parents, teachers, and management.
