You will manage complex demolition and (re)construction processes within a government organization. You will play a key role in projects, ensuring that everything proceeds safely, carefully, and according to regulations. The role combines substantive expertise with process management and an eye for the environment and local residents. It is a versatile position that contributes to construction safety, fire prevention, supervision, and advice.
What you do
- Manage (complex) demolition and (re)construction activities during execution.
- Supervise, adjust where necessary, and ensure that activities comply with permits and applicable laws and regulations.
- Be responsible for both content and process.
- Monitor the safety of third parties, prevent environmental nuisance and damage.
- Assess in advance whether proposed measures are sufficient.
- Oversee compliance with agreements, provisions, and fire prevention measures during execution.
- Investigate complaints arising from demolition and construction activities and determine appropriate measures.
- Have an advisory role before permit issuance.
- Be involved in events, checking the safety of sites, tents, stages, and grandstands, among other things.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the organization and maintain contact with builders, initiators, and residents.
- Participation in a 24/7 pager service may be part of the role.

- Several years of experience in a similar position, or as a contractor or chief foreman in construction.
- A completed ABW 1 training, a training that meets the final terms for the national Supervision and Enforcement BWT training, or the willingness to obtain it internally.
- Experience with complex demolition and construction processes.
- Driving license B.
