CFO

After several recent acquisitions, an ambitious construction group is looking for a hands-on Interim CFO who brings order, structure, and control while building the next growth phase. You will join at a time when the focus is on integration, professionalization, and establishing a scalable financial organization.

What you will do.

• Achieve reliable monthly closings, consolidation, and group reporting
• Create control over project control, work in progress, and project margins
• Improve cash flow, working capital, and liquidity forecasts
• Build and strengthen the finance organization
• Integrate acquisitions and realize synergy benefits
• Professionalize systems, processes, and management information
• Be a sparring partner for the CEO, shareholders, Supervisory Board, and local management

What they ask

• Academic working and thinking level (Business Economics, Finance or similar)
• Preferably RA or RC background
• Minimum 10 years of financial experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as CFO or Financial Director or within a project-driven organization (preferably construction-related)
• Experience with building or restoring a finance function after an acquisition, merger
• In-depth experience within a project-based environment such as construction, installation, maintenance, or technical services
• Strong knowledge of project control, work in progress, and contract management
• Demonstrable results in profitability, project control, and cash flow improvement
• Experience within a Private Equity environment, Buy & Build, or leveraged finance is a strong plus
• Experience with integration of acquisitions and setting up or expanding Shared Service Centers
• Experience with ERP, BI, and consolidation implementations
• Affinity with AI and technology to further improve processes and management information
• Excellent command of the Dutch language and good command of English
