A government organization is realizing a new test center. The terrain section has been awarded as a Design & Construct (D&C) contract. The project is currently in the design phase and partly already in the execution phase. The project is characterized by high quality requirements, including the flatness of the test track to be realized. You report to the IPM contract manager.
What you do
- Conduct a safety audit with the contractor every two months and provide associated reporting
- Participate in joint safety walks (quarterly) of the client and the contractor
- Advise on improving safety on the construction site based on audits
- Assess the V&G plans of the contractor
- Participate in meetings with the contract manager and other IPM team members
Profile
- You contribute to the realization of a new test center.
- The project is in the design phase and partly already in the execution phase.
- You report to the IPM contract manager.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at minimum MBO 4 level in safety engineering
- Demonstrable work experience as an intermediate safety expert in a civil engineering infrastructure project in the past 5 years
- Demonstrably in possession of a VCA-vol certificate
- Agree to the stated secondment conditions
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience as an intermediate safety expert in a D&C contract in civil engineering with a scope greater than €10 million
- Demonstrable completed civil engineering education at minimum MBO-4 level
- Demonstrable knowledge of ARBO legislation for offices and workshops
