Project Manager Social Issues

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. You will be involved in setting up and guiding important projects, such as building a community center or apartments for seniors. You will take integral responsibility for planning and realization in the physical living environment, fully utilizing your extensive experience in area development and social real estate.

What you will do.

• Act as a strategic sparring partner for administrative and official clients.
• Precisely coordinate the setup, content, and decision-making of complex projects and report on progress.
• Prepare and independently handle administrative decision documents.
• Inform the council and executive board about the current project status and any bottlenecks.
• Conduct negotiations with various market parties and ensure the conclusion of necessary agreements.
• Engage in intensive consultation and guide participation processes with residents and other important stakeholders.
• Lead both internal and external project groups, ensuring optimal alignment between different disciplines and project members.
• Guide legal procedures arising from the projects.
• Fulfill an important guiding role during project execution and subsequent handover after completion.

What they ask

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as an area development project manager within a public organization.
• Demonstrable work experience with housing developments and area development projects.
• Demonstrable work experience with guiding complex and/or politically and administratively sensitive projects within a public organization.
• Demonstrable work experience within a small municipality with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.
• Possess your own mobile phone including subscription and a laptop or tablet for carrying out the work.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable work experience with housing developments, area transformations, and/or redevelopment projects.
• Demonstrable work experience with social real estate, including community centers, neighborhood centers, healthcare real estate, visitor centers, or similar social facilities.
• Demonstrable work experience with residential care complexes, apartment complexes, or housing projects for the elderly and/or specific target groups.
• Demonstrable work experience with tender procedures, cooperation agreements, anterior agreements, and/or contract management within area development projects.
• Demonstrable work experience with administrative advice to the executive board, council, management, or official client within area development projects.
• Demonstrable work experience with participation processes and stakeholder management involving residents, developers, social organizations, and other interested parties.
