A public organization is looking for a linguistically strong communications expert for whom writing is a craft. You will write, rewrite, and edit texts for residents and colleagues. You ensure that everything the organization publishes is clear, correct, and recognizable, thus contributing to an administration that residents understand and trust.
What you will do.
- You write news articles, web texts, resident letters, press releases, articles for the information sheet, posters, and brochures.
- You transform complex, technical, and policy-related information into clear language, tailored to the target audience and channel.
- You are the final editor. You review texts from other departments for content, language, structure, and readability. You also help colleagues to write more clearly themselves.
- You keep the website, intranet, social media, and digital newsletters current and attractive.
- You contribute to communication plans and campaigns: what message, what tone, what moment, what channel?
- You monitor the house style and select appropriate visual material. At activities and events, you sometimes take photos yourself.
Profile
- You enjoy writing and write well. Language, spelling, and a clear structure are not minor details for you.
- You know how to use AI to optimize your writing process.
- You empathize with your reader and effortlessly adapt your tone: from a web text about waste collection to a press release.
- You are critical: you check sources, ask probing questions if information is unclear, and provide well-founded advice to colleagues.
- You work in a structured manner and monitor timing and agreements. Even when multiple deadlines coincide, you keep a cool head.
- You closely follow current events and trends in public and digital communication.
- You work proficiently with Office and have at least a basic knowledge of Canva or are willing to acquire it.
- You hold a bachelor's degree.
