A Senior Software Engineer is sought for a government organization to strengthen a team that develops and manages the Ozon service. This service is crucial within the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet), which simplifies rules for spatial development. Ozon validates, registers, and makes Environmental Documents from Competent Authorities available via APIs, helping citizens apply for permits and view documents in GEO-viewers.
The team works Agile according to the SAFe framework, in 2-week sprints and quarterly Program Increments. The team consists of developers, a test engineer, an information analyst, and a Product Owner, supported by a Scrum Master and functional administrators. The work involves 10 services (APIs), Java backends, and an Angular frontend management portal, all running on a Kubernetes cluster in the Azure Cloud.

- Fluent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, demonstrable with an HBO or university degree, or with an MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree and at least 8 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 8 years of work experience with Java development
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Swagger
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with container technology and DevOps management
