IT Functional Analyst

• Analyze business problems and requirements and translate them into detailed functional requirements and IT solutions.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, internal stakeholders, architects, Project Managers, Asset Managers, and Product Owners to define appropriate solutions.
• Propose alternative solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards, strategy, and cost/benefit considerations.
• Collaborate with architects and technical teams to define the solution architecture and clarify functional responsibilities.
• Design solutions by identifying and detailing impacts across different application components.
• Coordinate with technical teams to specify requirements and ensure a unified understanding of business needs.
• Follow up on development and testing to ensure the delivered solution matches the functional specifications.
• Provide technical definitions for components such as queues, security, and integration layers.
• Support suppliers during development, integration, and assembly testing (I&AT).
• Analyze defects during testing and support release and deployment teams across different environments.
• Provide production support, analyze production incidents, coordinate their resolution, and maintain relevant documentation.

What they ask

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
• Business experience in KYC is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of analysis methodologies according to enterprise standards.
• Rigorous, methodical, analytical, and accurate, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional Agile teams and contributing beyond the primary role when required to achieve sprint goals.

Preferences.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Practical experience with Scrum.
• Strong Agile mindset, with a positive, pragmatic, collaborative, and continuous-improvement-oriented approach.

• Good knowledge of Dutch or French, as well as sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
