A specialized infrastructure company is looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman who can independently manage projects within Cables and Pipelines. You will work on various cable and pipeline projects within the railway sector, ranging from smaller tasks to larger integrated projects. The fixed base of operations is a central location in the Central Netherlands, with variation in workplaces and environments.
What you do
- As an experienced Groundworks Foreman, you are the first point of contact on the construction site
- You lead your team, monitor planning, and ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to agreements
- You work closely with the site manager and project leader and play an important role in the success of projects
- You ensure that everything is correct: from preparation to delivery
Your responsibilities.
- Managing and guiding a team of groundworkers
- Preparing and organizing work activities on location
- Distributing tasks and monitoring progress and quality
- Checking equipment, materials, and safety measures
- Performing and checking measurements
- Signaling deviations and liaising with the site manager and project leader
What they ask
- You have demonstrable experience as a foreman or leading groundworker
- You have an MBO education in a technical field (GWW, infra, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or similar)
- You can work independently and make decisions on the construction site
- You communicate clearly and manage people in a pleasant way
- You are flexible, also available during nights and weekends
- In possession of a B driving license
