An organization is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to strengthen their testing processes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure software quality.
What you do
- Execute, maintain, and develop automated test scripts using specific testing tools and frameworks.
- Optimize object repositories and test assets to ensure long-term reliability and reusability.
- Identify, track, and report defects early in the lifecycle to drive continuous software improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely resolution of testing issues.
- Contribute to the governance and coordination of testing practices within the division.
What they ask
- 3+ years of experience with OpenText UFT and HP ALM, including test suite creation and script optimization.
- 3+ years of test automation using VB script and Hybrid Frameworks involving data and keyboard-driven methodologies.
- 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or VSTS, utilizing boards, test plans, and user stories.
- 1+ years of functional software testing experience supported by an ISTQB Foundation certification.
- You possess an analytical and logical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and defect detection.
- You're proactive and able to communicate in a structured manner with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
Nice-to-haves.
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and data consistency analysis.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Functional experience within the insurance industry.
- Fluent in Dutch and French.
