Guiding residents at an individual level.

• Engaging in conversations with residents, understanding their personal stories, thinking along, and advising.
• Collaborating with the resident on a future plan, whether in the Netherlands or their country of origin.
• Drawing up a guidance plan and working with residents on the skills they need to maintain control over their own lives.
• Responsible for methodical guidance in various phases, from arrival to departure from the reception location.
• Discussion partner for the resident regarding all decisions made in the asylum procedure.
• As a file holder, sharing key information with colleagues and coordinating with other organizations in the refugee chain.

• You continue to seek genuine contact with residents.
• You work together with colleagues to guide residents as effectively as possible.
• You have a fluent communication style.
• You can communicate well with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

What they ask

• Education: A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work, Social Legal Services, or Law.
• Driving license and own car are necessary (due to poor accessibility of certain locations).

Preferences.

• Work experience: Preferably, experience with immigration law, working with a large caseload, and individual methodical guidance.
