- As a protected living consultant, you take the lead. You guide residents who need extra support with living and in multiple areas of life. This concerns people who need 16 to 24 hours a day of supervision in the vicinity, for example due to psychological vulnerabilities or an intellectual disability.
What you do
- Thoroughly investigate reports and applications, looking beyond the immediate support request.
- Carefully and integrally map out the entire situation to provide appropriate support and perspective.
- Conduct thorough research and make home visits.
- Listen, ask probing questions, and accurately assess the situation.
- Based on this, make a well-considered decision about the deployment of a customized provision.
- Map out self-reliance, psychological problems, safety, and social network, including testing for safety and risk assessment.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as drafting reports and building case files.
- Monitor progress and goals.
- Coordinate involved parties.
- Monitor quality, results, and identify bottlenecks.
Profile
- You do not provide daily guidance yourself, but you maintain control.
- You monitor the process, agreements, and overall progress.
- You are in contact with residents, care providers, and other involved parties.
- You coordinate, monitor, and adjust where necessary.
What they ask
- Minimum of three years of work experience as a WMO consultant at a public organization, as evidenced by the CV.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a protected living consultant at a public organization, as evidenced by the CV.
- Minimum of a completed HBO bachelor's degree.
Preferences.
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree in Social Work or MWD.
- Minimum of three years of work experience as a protected living consultant at a public organization.
