You contribute to stopping domestic violence and child abuse within an organization focused on a safe living environment. You work within various pathways to offer clients and their family systems an integrated approach of research, support, and assistance.
What you do
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients during walk-in consultation hours
- Conduct intakes, listen to their stories, and assess the situation
- Make safety assessments in intersectoral consultation and determine follow-up steps
- Manage cases and provide guidance and support for sustainable safety
- Collaborate and coordinate with chain partners
What they ask
- Completed relevant HBO education (MWD, SPH, Pedagogy) with a strong affinity for acute services
- SKJ registered or able to obtain this registration as soon as possible
- Knowledge of relevant aid theories and methodologies
- Experience with systemic work
- Knowledge of national protocols and guidelines
- Extensive demonstrable knowledge, experience, and affinity with various aspects of domestic violence and child abuse (injury, sexual abuse, psychosocial trauma, intimate terror)
- Knowledge and insight into the social map of the region
- Certified in and experienced with the Multifocus methodology is a plus
