A government organization is committed to strengthening water safety in a northern river valley. A large part of the current dikes no longer meet safety requirements. To improve flood protection, the organization is working on various projects that include dike reinforcements, the construction of new dikes, and measures within the framework of water directives.
What you do
- Support and advise contract management throughout the different phases of the contract process: from preparation and tendering to realization.
- You focus on both realization contracts and service contracts with engineering firms.
- Within a specific project, you will be involved in dike reinforcements, the construction of new dikes, and measures around the mouth of a local stream.
- Draft and evaluate tender documents and contract pieces.
- Support in managing contractual changes, monitoring agreements made, milestones, schedules, and progress.
- Meticulously maintain contract files.
- Prepare contractual issues, reports, and advice for the project team.
- Oversee the correct handling of documents, checks, and acceptances in specific software.
- Contribute to the drafting and refinement of contract strategies, tender plans, and contract management plans.
- Contribute to the further development, professionalization, and safeguarding of contract management within the organization.
What they ask
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level in a relevant field.
- Minimum of five years of experience with the realization of civil engineering projects larger than € 5 million.
- Demonstrable experience with Relatics or comparable software.
- Demonstrable experience with UAV-GC contracts.
